Older, expiring codes and technology put into place during their time had fire alarm systems requiring two conventional phone lines. Depending on their configuration, security systems can also have plain old telephone service (POTS). But as many companies are now considering IP telephone systems, POTS lines will coincidentally begin to be phased out by some regional phone companies in 2016. The older POTS dialer technology is not compatible with the new IP technology, but, at Integrated Protection Services, we can provide you monitoring with a wireless system using cellular dialers. Perfect for when a hard-wired system isn’t practical or convenient.

To make the move to our Sole Path Technology platform, there are only a few things required: 120VAC power within a few feet of your current panel dialer, a supervised input to your current fire or intrusion panel and good wireless signal strength at the panel location.
